DiscDepot is a SaaS application built upon the open-source **DiscVault** core engine. In compliance with open-source licensing models and to promote collaborative software development:
- The core engine code is derived from DiscVault, which is licensed under the GNU General Public License v3 (GPLv3).
- The source code repository of DiscDepot is open-source and maintains complete compliance with GPLv3 copyleft terms. You can review the LICENSE, NOTICE, and CONTRIBUTING policies in the project root repository.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, adding disc golf metadata, uploading files, or interacting with the DiscDepot interface, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.
2. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials (including login links or SMTP-forwarded verification emails).
- Ensuring the accuracy of inventory metadata imported via spreadsheets or custom mold additions.
- Preventing unauthorized activities under your active user ID.
3. Acceptable Use Guidelines
You agree not to use the DiscDepot platform to:
- Attempt to bypass security controls, hijack authentication links, or trigger brute-force email spamming on auth routes.
- Interfere with database connectivity, overload Postgres transaction connection pools, or query resources in a way that disrupts other SaaS tenants.
- Upload malicious CSV spreadsheets or script injection vectors into the inventory data imports.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
THIS PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY THE GNU GPLv3 LICENSE.
